           John Patrick Amama Mbabazi who is commonly known by his name Mbabazi is a Ugandan politician and the founder of the rival NRM faction party called Go Forward.

            John Patrick Amama Mbabazi was born on 16th January 1949 in western region of Uganda in a place called Kinkizi.

          He served as the secretary General of the NRM from 2005 when the NRM delegates elected him with a 70% majority.
